PIM (Please Inconvenience Me) is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or share any personal data.

What data does PIM access?

On iOS, PIM uses:

• Screen Time (Family Controls) — to restrict and shield apps you choose. PIM never sees your Screen Time data; it only applies restrictions you set.
• Notifications — to alert you when a task is required to unlock an app.

On Android, PIM uses:

• App Usage Access — to detect when a restricted app is opened. This data never leaves your device.
• Display Over Other Apps — to show the task on top of restricted apps.
• Query Installed Apps — to display the list of apps you can restrict.
• Notifications — to show the persistent foreground service notification required by Android.
• Boot — to restart the monitoring service when your device reboots.
• Battery Optimization — to keep the service running reliably in the background.

Data collection, analytics, and sharing

No personal data is collected, transmitted, or stored on external servers — all settings and preferences stay on your device only. PIM contains no analytics, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking of any kind, and shares no data with third parties, because none is collected in the first place.
